  • Friday, November 11th, 2022 - Veterans Day

  • Tuesday, November 15th, 2022 - Budget Training Class

Water Utility Billing

Water bills will be due on Wednesday, November 16th due to the closure, or can be dropped off in the drop-box on the driveway or at Bank 1st drop-box by their bulletin board prior to the 16th.

As a reminder, the City of West Union can email your water bill instead of mailing the postcard. We also offer Auto Pay with no fees. Email Miranda Lyons at [email protected] to sign up for e-bill or have the ACH form emailed to you. The form needs to be signed and have a voided check attached to it, and then can be brought to City Hall or dropped in the drop-boxes to start the ACH process. Payment is withdrawn monthly from your account on the 15th, or next business day if it falls on the weekend.

Meet Our Board

Heather Becthold - Board Member & WURF Residential Officer

I am a National Certified EMT since 2016 and currently volunteer with Fayette Ambulance. I work for the Iowa Department of Corrections at the West Union Residential Facility as a Residential Officer for almost 2 years now.

I joined the WUMSC to get more involved in the community, help West Union grow, increase community camaraderie. I hope we are able to bring in new businesses and families and make them feel welcome to the area and to help our local, small businesses flourish. I want to help create successful events for all ages to enjoy and highlight the many assets are town offers. I’m on the Promotions Committee.

I like reading, crafting, and spending time kayaking with family and friends. I enjoy doing home improvement projects and I have a degree in Interior Design.
