FEATURED BUSINESS
West Union Main Street Chamber
This month’s featured business is the West Union Main Street Chamber. Founded in 1922 from the Citizen’s Club, the Chamber is now in its 100th year. Outlasting parachute pants, the USSR, and older than sliced bread, the Chamber has been helping the West Union community for a century. Much has changed in that time, but one thing has remained certain, the members of this organization care about the community.
Governed by a board of directors, the West Union Main Street Chamber’s mission is to invest in the community by bringing people together to achieve a support system that seeks to promote business success, downtown revitalization, and a sense of community pride.
How do we accomplish this? We frequently meet with businesses to help find solutions to their unique problems, we create events that bring people to our community, and we look to the future of West Union while understanding our past.
Our Executive Director, Matthew Marsala, is always available to assist in any project, whether it be the annual block party, RAGBRAI®, or sitting down with a new business to lay out all the tools and resources available to them.
The West Union Main Street Chamber will be hosting this month’s Chamber After 5. Please join us on Wednesday, June 22nd, 2022, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at our office located at 101 N Vine St. West Union, IA 52175.
