New Year & New Ideas

Date: Tuesday, January 24th, 2023Time: 5:30 PM - 6:30 PMLocation: Moonlight Stitching Studio & Sisters Retreat

The West Union Main Street Chamber’s Promotions Committee would like to invite local business owners and their employees to sit with us and discuss our events. We want to learn answers to the following questions and more:

What events do you like, dislike, or are indifferent to?

What events need to be improved, and how can we improve them?

Are there any events that should be added?

With your help, we can ensure that each event in 2023 reaches its full potential, helping our growing network of businesses and promoting West Union as a destination for shopping and new business. The more feedback we receive, the better our events will be. Thank you, and see you there!

Water Bill

West Union City Hall offers a few options to simplify your water bill.

Electronic BillingYou can sign up to have your water bill emailed to you at the end of each month. No more waiting for the mail or worrying about misplacing the slip.

Auto PayThe City also offers an Auto Pay option. You can sign up to have your water bill automatically withdrawn on the 15th each month at no fee. You can save time not mailing a check or dropping off money at City Hall.

To sign up for any of these options, visit West Union City Hall Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

Committee Spotlight

The West Union Main Street Chamber is committee and volunteer-driven. We will recognize one of these committees each month, explaining their role. Every committee is open to anyone looking to volunteer. You’ll be instrumental in how we impact change in the community, help existing businesses, recruit new businesses, put on public events, fund-raise, and more!

Organization Committee

The Organization Committee focuses on fundraising for the West Union Main Street Chamber. This is accomplished primarily by planning and hosting the Annual Golf Tournament. Entering its 13th year, money raised by the tournament helps fund events, learning opportunities, grant writing, Miss West Union, and more. Without the Organization Committee, the West Union Main Street Chamber would not be nearly as impactful.

The members of the Organization Committee are:

  • Cam Granger (Mayor of West Union & owner of Granger Construction)

  • Matt McElree (West Union City Councilman & Fayette County Engineer)

  • Rick Trumm (Owner of Tindell Shoes)

  • Derek Heins (Bank 1st Senior Commercial & Ag Officer)

  • Matthew Marsala (Executive Director)
