CITY OF WEST UNION REVOLVING LOAN FUND
The City of West Union Revolving Loan Fund provides gap financing to new and expanding businesses for which credit is not otherwise available.
WEST UNION MAIN STREET CHAMBER REVOLVING LOAN FUND
Purpose: The West Union Main Street Chamber Revolving Loan Fund (RLF) funds are available to provide financial assistance to start-ups or expansions to small businesses in West Union.
Eligible Projects: The creation of jobs is a fundamental consideration. Applicants eligible for RLF funds include but are not limited to: individuals, partnerships, businesses, corporations, and non-profit organizations. Municipalities and county governments are not eligible applicants.

Welcome to West Union Project
The West Union Main Street Chamber Economic Vitality Committee is excited to introduce our "Welcome to West Union" program, designed to make new residents feel right at home.
Here's how it works:
When new residents establish their water bills at West Union City Hall, they'll receive a special card for a "One Free Welcome Basket" from the West Union Main Street Chamber. These welcoming baskets will be filled with a variety of West Union treasures, allowing us to showcase our wonderful community. Our Executive Director will be on hand to offer a warm welcome, answer questions, guide them to our brochure information area, and provide details about upcoming community and business events. The goal is to create a personal and inviting experience for those moving to West Union.
What's in the gift basket, you ask?
These baskets will contain branded merchandise, coupons, and other delightful items donated by local businesses and organizations. We encourage businesses to be creative and thoughtful, making sure to exclude traditional paper marketing materials like brochures and business cards. We want this basket to be a unique and enjoyable surprise for new residents.
If you have new or updated brochures, we'd be happy to display them in our informational area, ensuring they're readily available for newcomers. This way, we can offer a well-rounded introduction to our community.
Now, here's how local businesses can get involved:
We kindly request that businesses commit to donating seventy-five (75) promotional items. Don't worry; we won't need them all at once. As we start to run low on supplies in the office, we'll reach out to request more. This approach helps us minimize storage requirements and allows businesses to keep their items up to date, reflecting any changes in hours, services, or other relevant information.

Additionally, volunteers from our Economic Vitality Committee will be visiting local businesses and organizations to spread the word about this program and collect promotional items from those who are eager to participate. Your support in making new residents feel welcome in West Union is greatly appreciated!
